cold in hoth part 1

A few weeks ago, I embarked on my biggest diorama project to date. Here's a first preview at some of the progress I've made. It involves the old hasbro AT-AT toy about to smash the Finemolds 1/48 snowspeeder to smithereens! Trying out some new (to me) techniques for painting the snowspeeder.

All done, for now. This must be my quickest build to date, took only a couple of weeks to finish up. Now I'm not making any promises, but he does look kinda lonely rushing into the fight all by himself. Perhaps Bulldozer and Little Sure Shot?

My latest project, another 1/72 scale figure conversion. This time it's DC comics' Sgt. Rock character. I've always wanted to do a figure with the iconic machine gun bullet belt slung on both shoulders and this character was perfect for it.

Painting an Army 2

Round 2 of Valiant Miniatures mini-soldiers. This time its the British Tommies in 1/72 scale. I quite enjoyed painting these. I believe these guys have slightly better detail than the GI's!
